We all know that sunburn is very bad for us. And the only best advice is to avoid overexposure to the sun. But how can you avoid the fun outdoors specially now that summer is beckoning you to have fun outside?

The ever famous aloe vera is the best natural remedy to relieve sunburn. Minor sunburns soaks the aloe gel so amazingly fast. It absorbs the heat, pain and redness.
If an aloe plant is available, you can get the gel directly from the leaves. Break a leaf, squish the gel and spread it directly on the burn.
Then rinse with water that has been boiled and cooled and pat dry with a sterile cloth. Repeat three or four times during the day and then as needed.
Also find relief from the refrigerator using your ever favorite yogurt. It is very cooling and has natural moisturizer. You can apply it liberally on the burned area and leave on for about 10 minutes.
Remember. while you try to soothe sunburn, always load up on antioxidants to speed up healing. Since the skin is broken, infection is possible. It is advised to take Vitamin A, C and E.
