Anemia can be a threat to your health as it can lead to oxygen deprivation, fatigue or the stopping of bodily functions. It is quite difficult to prevent anemia but it can be highly avoided by eating iron rich foods like green leafy vegetables, liver, dried fruits, breads and pastas. There are also some home remedies that might help treat anemia.
- Dry Cereal
Dry cereal without sugar can be a great home treatment for anemia. Cereals are often fortified with vitamin B12, folic acid and iron.
Spinach can provide cheap and effective treatment for anemia since it contains lots of folic acid and iron. You can consume it raw by adding it to salads or you can sauté spinach with other vegetables and some meat. Spinach can also be steamed to preserve its nutritional content.
