Our hair is exposed to numerous chemicals, pollution, humidity, the sun and so much more each day that it is no wonder that human hair becomes dry and rough like sand.

In times like this, there are still healthy, natural and chemical free ways to get shiny hair. You ask how to get healthy hair naturally? I am not going to write too long about this topic, but just remember these five ingredients can help you get healthy hair

  • Mayonnaise

You can use mayonnaise as a deep conditioner, leave on for an hour using a shower cap and rinse it off. For people with dry hair, rub mayonnaise onto your hair and scalp and work it until the tips. For people who have rather oily hair or scalp, avoid getting mayonnaise onto your scalp and work your way from the tips to as near as the baseline.

  • Eggs

Crack a few eggs depending on the length of your hair. Set aside the egg whites. Use the egg yolks and whisk them up with olive oil. Apply it on already wet hair and leave on for 5 minutes. Rinse off with cold water.

How Shrinking those Facial Pores Naturally

Facial pores

Facial pores

I know women do care about their humongous facial pores? Well..at least I know one of my friend do care about.  Of course I won’t reveal who she is….Anyway here are a few tried and tested tricks that you can do at home to minimize them and eventually make them invisible.

  • Ice and Ice Water

Upon waking up in the morning, place ice cubes in a plastic container and wrap with a towel. Apply this cold compress to problematic areas of the face. If you don’t mind the shock, you can also go all out by washing up with ice water every morning. Instead of placing the ice cubes in a plastic container, place them in a bowl or a basin and add some water. Use the ice water to wash your entire face.

  • Tomato Juice

Tomato juice is proven to be very good for the skin especially if ingested. However, tomato juice can also be applied externally. Before going to bed at night, squeeze the juice out of fresh tomatoes and apply it to your face. Leave it on for around 15 minutes and rinse off with lukewarm water.

  • Lemon Juice + Egg Whites

Mix the egg whites of one egg with 3 drops of juice squeezed out from fresh lemon. Ensure that the combination is thoroughly mixed and apply it onto your face. Leave on for 15 minutes and rinse off with cold water.

  • Lemon Juice + Honey + Sugar

Use one part of juice squeezed out from fresh lemon and one part of honey. Add in half part sugar and mix thoroughly. Apply it onto face and massage your face gently. The sugar will exfoliate dead skin cells while the lemon juice and honey combination will help minimize those pores. Leave on for 5 minutes and rinse off.
