Tired of always having to wipe off that sheen from your face? Having oily skin can be quite bothersome – especially if it’s coupled with acne breakouts!

I have wrote an articles  awhile ago about dealing with oily skin and Oily skin can be caused by many factors from climates and weather temperatures to your genes. Yes, sadly, having oily skin is hereditary and can be passed on from generation to generation. Here are a few things that you can try to help get rid of oily skin.

  • Salt Spray

Dissolve 1 tablespoon of salt into a 400ml spray bottle of water. Use it on your face daily and make sure to dry it off. Do not forget to close your eyes while using salt spray – otherwise, you’d end up with a much bigger problem!

  • Iced Milk

Dip an ice cube in milk and apply it onto your face. The cool temperature will help close up the pores and the milk will help alleviate oiliness in your face. Make sure to rinse off with cold water after.

  • Baking Soda

Combine half a teaspoon of baking soda and 300ml of liquid soap. Use it on your T zone (forehead, nose and chin) by gently rubbing it in. Wash it off with cool water and pat dry.

  • Cornstarch

Make a paste out of cornstarch and water. Rub the paste gently on your face and let it dry. After the paste has dried off, rinse your face with lukewarm water.

  • Egg Yolk

Apply egg yolk onto your face and let it sit for 15 minutes. You may also use cotton balls and dip it into the egg yolk if you are hesitant to apply it on your whole face. Rinse off with cool water.

A Little Tip to Know Type of Skin You Have

What skin type you have?

What skin type you have?

Some people don’t know how to treat their own skin. They read many kinds of tips and articles on skin care and start to try those. They never try to know whether these treatments are good for their skin or not.

Because of this reason, many people suffer from skin problems and don’t even know it due to their unfamiliarity. Let’s take a very simple test to find out what kind of skin we have.

Before you go to sleep at night, make sure you clean your face with proper skin cleaning solution. By the time you wake up in morning, take a tissue paper. Press the tissue paper on your face. Remember, don’t rub it.

Observe what is on the tissue paper.

  • If there is a little bit oil or nothing in the tissue then your skin is dry skin.
  • If the tissue absorbs a little more oil than previous one, then you have a normal skin.
  • If the tissue absorbs much more oil or you see some sort of oil stain, be sure that you have oily skin.
  • And the last one, if your skin is allergic to many skin care products, then you may have a very sensitive skin.

My suggestion is, don’t try something whatever you get in magazines or from different articles. Read everything and try to evaluate them if your skin likes.

Hopefully you like this little tip of today. I welcome you to share your thought with my readers. I have many other articles written previously, feel free to explore them at Natural Health Care Reviews.

How to deal with Oily Skin

Are you one of the many unfortunate people who are gifted with an oil depot on your face? Do you feel like leaking from inside out of your facial skin specially on hot weather seasons? Don’t fret because the only natural solution for that is, guess what?-OIL. Yes, you heard me right, to fight oily skin, use oil. Sounds ironic but true.

Oily skin affects our sense of well being. Most of the men population are particularly conscious of this condition. I must say that men are only as good as the last drop of oil on their face. Really, who would want to stay close to an oil leaking male? You know, skin care is also important among mens.

Do you know about flaxseed?

Do you know about flaxseed?

While looking gorgeous from the outside, most of us must think about what’s best for the inside and that is to include oil in our diet, the kind that contains more fatty acids. One of these is the use of flaxseed oil. This is an herbal supplement that must be taken 1 to 3 teaspoons daily. This supplement is rich in fatty acids which breaks down the saturated fats that we get from or red meats and dairy products.

How about lecithin? This is quite potent in terms of emulsifying the fats which clogs up your pores. Don’t want intakes? Then I would suggest the ever famous face steaming.

Boil a pot of water enough to produce steam. Put in a container with opening enough for your face to fit. Wash your face first and continue with the steam, after a few seconds, wash our face with cold water. Steam opens the pores and releases the dirt while the cold water seals the pores off.

There a number of ways to eliminate oily skin but whatever you do, its always best to consult the dermatologist about the oil leaking from your face. Might be a bad case of oil hike!
